Just out of the studio, a new bunch of FREE presets for Your VoicePrismPlus. From Marc Cooper and TC-Helicon to you.
JAZZ NO SUNSHINE:
This preset best describes my love for soulful 3 part vocal harmonies. Here I
create jazz-like vocals for the blues tune, " Ain’t No Sunshine". This is useful
for both verse and chorus. The song is in the key of B minor.
Softknob # 1: Key is set to A. This creates a jazzy approach, treating the Bm chord (1) as a dorian minor chord.
Softknob # 2: Scale is set to MAJOR 3. I use Step Scale.
Softknob # 3: Gender is Custom made. I am using 1 Male, and 3 Female Harmonies,
and since I’m creating three part harmony the 4th and 5th voices and doubling
my lead or a harmony.
Softknob # 4: FX Custom. Here I used a Hall Reverb.
Panning: Male L 50% - Females: R 100% / R 20% / L 100%.
Voicing: Male 3rd above, Females: 5th above, oct. above, 5th above.

POP NO SUNSHINE:
This preset shows a slightly more straight-ahead approach for soulful 3 part
vocal harmonies. Here I create pop-like vocals for the blues tune, " Ain’t No Sunshine".
This is useful for both verse and chorus. The song is in the key of B minor.
Softknob # 1: Key is set to B. Now the Bm chord (1) is thought of as a aeolian minor chord.
Softknob # 2: Scale is set to Minor 1. I use Step Scale.
Softknob # 3: Gender is Custom made. I am using 1 Male, and 3 Female Harmonies,
and since I’m creating three part harmony the 4th and 5th voices are doubling
a harmony or they are an octave above my lead vocal.
Softknob # 4: FX Custom. Here I used a Hall Reverb.
Panning: Male L 50% Females: R 100% / R 50% / L 100%.
Voicing: Male 3rd above, Females: 5th above, oct. above, 5th above (doubled).

TAKE IT EASY PT. 1:
For this preset I created a 2 part country-rock vocal for the tune, " Take It Easy".
This is useful for both verse and chorus. The song is in the key of G Major.
Softknob # 1: Key is set to G. I use Smooth Scale.
Softknob # 2: Scale is set to MAJOR 2. Here I am able to dial in a better harmony
for the song (more country-like) than the diatonic harmony that’s in MAJOR 1.
Try singing the song using MAJOR 1 to see what I mean.
Softknob # 3: Gender is Custom. I am using one male harmony.
Softknob # 4: FX Custom. Here I used a Hall Reverb. The reverb level is kept quite low.. sounding dry. Panning: Male L 65%. Voicing: Male 3rd above.

TAKE IT EASY PT. 2:
For this preset I created 3 part country-rock harmonies for the tune, "Take It Easy".
This is very useful for both verse and chorus. The panning is set quite wide.
The song is in the key of G Major.
Softknob # 1: Key is set to G. I use Smooth Scale.
Softknob # 2: Scale is set to MAJOR 2. Here I am able to dial in better harmonies
for the song (more country-like) than a diatonic harmony that’s in MAJOR 1. The
4th harmony is set to double the second harmony (3rd above).

higher… sounding wet and rich.

MUSTANG SALLY:
For this preset I created 3 part vocal harmonies, along with Voice Modeling,
to create a soulful bluesy sound for the tune, "Mustang Sally". These harmonies are useful for the chorus section and background "Oohs". I used Long-Fellow and Sweet Voice for the altering of my voice. It’s
a wild effect! Also try adding various amounts of Dirty Breath for that growling
blues singer sound. This song is an A7 blues.
Softknob # 1: Key is set to A.
Softknob # 2: Scale is set to MAJOR 2. Here I am able to dial in a blue-eyed
soul sound. The 4th harmony is set to double the second harmony (only this time
it’s a 3rd, an octave above that second voice). The 1st voice is unison, an octave
above my lead.
Softknob # 3: Gender is Custom made. I am using 4 Female harmonies.
Softknob # 4: FX Custom. Here I used a Hall Reverb. The reverb level is kept
bright…. not too wet but rich.
Panning: L 100%, R 100%, R 50%, L 100%.
Voicing: Octave above, 3rd above, 5th above, 3rd , octave above.
Voice Modeling: Long Fellow 40% / Sweet Voice 50%.

MODULATIONS:
Here, in step mode, I use a smooth scale preset of 3 part female harmonies that,
with my footswitch, I can modulate between three different key centers. ( C – Db – D
) So now I have access to the seven modal chords in each key, giving me 21 chord
possibilities all together.
